Product Description

SURFACEGUARD AB is a specially designed waterborne single pack room temperature cured anti-microbial nano coating for hard surfaces. SURFACEGUARD AB is formulated with cationic nano active composites dispersed in polymer and effective to inactivate pathogens on contact, hence potential material to immobilize of microbes. This nano coating is active against the growth of micro-organisms like virus, bacteria, molds, fungi, yeasts etc. SURFACEGUARD AB conforms to global standards like JIS and ISO with an anti-bacterial efficacy of > 99.9%. Its anti-microbial system does not leach out, and it therefore remains safe and active throughout the life of the product. This transparent clear coat is suitable for hard surfaces like metal, wood, concrete, plastic etc.

Application Guideline

The application of the coating is being conducted under normal temperature and surrounding conditions.

Surface Preparation:

Surface must be free from dust, dirt and any other foreign substances. Surface should be perfectly clean and dry before applying ULTRAPEL MICROB 150 AB

Cleaning:

Clean all tools and spillage of paint with water immediately after application.

Precaution:
  • Don’t apply materials below dew point and above 50°C.
  • Clean all tools with water immediately after application
  • Avoid application of excessive film thicknesses

 

Mixing Application:
  • Stir well before use
  • Apply the coating solution on the substrate using brush, roller & conventional
    • spray process
  • Drying time
    • Surface Dry – 15 to 30 mins
    • Touch dry: 2-3 hours
    • Hard Dry – Over Night
  • Recommended film thickness: 15-30 μm
